I was wondering if anyone out there can point me towards a comprehensive web site that reviews reader software and other accessible devices. My very driven and ambitious grandmother recently learned that she will loose her sight very soon. At 80 she still runs her own business and will try to continue to do so once her vision is lost. We are looking for user friendly tools for screen readers, accessible phones, and really any other devices one can think of that might make her transition easier.
I appreciate any help on this topic.

And as a follow up question, there also seems to be some computer systems that somehow can translate or produce braille from screen text and or websites. I am still not sure exactly how that works, but assuming that this is what it actually does, would anyone be so kind as to offer advice? That is, being sighted, I have no idea if there is an advantage to having a page or website translated through reader software, versus into braille. And in that area, if anyone reads this that lost their sight during adulthood, how difficult is it to learn braille? As I mentioned above, my grandmother is 80 and we are trying to gauge the best ways to facilitate her wishes to keep working and stay independent.
I apologize for so many questions.
