barbecuing for the VI

All,
Has any of you had any luck with barbecuing food? I'm asking on behalf of a friend who can see some things but not much. She's having a birthday party for herself but is expecting to be able to ask one of her guests to do the work.

Please any help in averting a disaster would be appreciated.

although the date has passed I would have loved to be close enough to help with the bbq, i used to do that and things like that for my friends who are vi but 1 got married, another moved to TX and the 3rd my best friend passed away, if anyone is near danville and needs anything i can help with just ask
