Roosterloops Broadcast Setup

I use Winamp: running multi/two instances.
The first instance is my main music winamp
The second, Is the broadcasting instance.
Having two instances allows for a professional sounding broadcast, using both fading and compression on the cast, and not have to talk only when the line plugin is enabled in the music winamp.
here is how it's done...

You need two audio devices/sound cards in or connected to your computer.
The lower quality or attached to the mainboard device can be the one you run jaws/screen reader and all other windows sounds off of.
Just set this as your default audio device within windows, and jaws/screen reader will use it.
The higher quality device is the one which your broadcast/both winamps will use.
In your audio properties/preferences in winamp choose the second audio device. In your second instance of winamp use the line plugin and have the higher quality audio device set to audiomix out, or what you hear in recording properties.
Also in the second winamp, use Sam DSP encoders, and compression plugin, note, you may need dsp stacker if your not using SQR's advanced crossfading for output plugin.
