I'm an eccentric blind guy with fairly unconventional views on things, although I've been told my point of view is still rather tame. You'll avhe to see for yourself. I consider myself to be an outsider and an eccentric and it's something I'm pretty proud of. I call things as I see them and don't spend so much time apologizing for having my own mind and opinion. My taste in music is very wide but fairly unusual and I tend to not follow much of anything that's current. I read sci-fi, horror and a bit of fantasy fiction. I'm a big fan of old movies and TV shows and I collect them on DVD. I also collect unusual things like talking clocks.

But I have not let that stop me yet!

My name is Jack. I'm divorced and the dad of twin boys. I love all kinds of music, but most of my listening is 70's and 80's pop and rock. I also listen to country from the 1970's to the present. There's more, but that makes up the bulk of what I enjoy listening to. I also enjoy movies and some TV like The History Channel, The Learning Channel and A&e just to name a few. I have my own apartment and I love it! I love to talk with people who enjoy good conversation. I'm a real fun person with a quick wit and a real sarcastic streak when I need it. I'm also very down to earth and a good listener. I'm an honest and loyal friend. I'm the oldest of 4. I have 2 younger brothers and my sister is the baby of the bunch. I love getting out of the city and over to the park to relax and enjoy the sounds of nature. Sadly, I don't get to do this as often as I'd like. I also enjoy traveling. And again, I don't get to do this as often as I'd like. I've been to Canada, Florida and Montana. I also love messing around with computers. I'm a JAWS user, and I have been since 1999. I lost my eye sight back in the late 80's when I was in my mid 20's to glaucoma. Prior to that, I was a high partial. Blindness is just something that I've learned to live with. It's not who I am. I enjoy meeting new people and making friends as I travel through this fun, crazy journey called life. As for my personal life, I know that the perfect woman for me is out there somewhere, and I'll know her when I find her, or she finds me. Thanks for taking the time to check out my profile.

I have been a blind computer user for nearly 18 years now. I have specifically worked in the Access Technology field for about 13 years. I very much enjoy
helping people become independent through technology.

I am a happy recipient of a bachelors in Information Technology degree from the
University of Phoenix Online
. I have also attended the scripting Jaws and Magic workshop at
Freedom Scientific
where I learned a lot of complex scripting techniques, and concepts.

I am happily married to a wonderful wife of four years. She makes me smile and laugh all of the time. She is the biggest blessing in my life!
